Dr Guy Loukakou is a general practitioner, graduated from the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL), with a specialisation in immunology, haematology, and transfusion medicine. He further completed his training with a degree in public health from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and in tropical medicine at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp (IMT), giving him an integrated and global perspective on health.
His experience spans both hospital settings and laboratory work, particularly in molecular biology (Clinique Saint-Jean, Brussels) and applied tropical medicine. He has also taken part in several emergency and humanitarian medical missions.
Today, Dr Loukakou is fully dedicated to functional medicine — an approach focused on identifying the root causes of chronic imbalances. He combines biological, nutritional, environmental, and emotional dimensions to offer personalised and sustainable care plans.
Passionate about complementary scientific and nutritional approaches, he has enhanced his expertise with training in Good Sciences and Nutrition at Ghent University.
A true polyglot, Dr Loukakou communicates fluently in French, English, Russian, and several African languages, including Kongo and basic Swahili.
He welcomes patients both in person and via video consultation, with availability and compassion.
